I am in need to reload my Windows XP software after an abortive attempt to load some software leaving my XP start up bar continually rolling. I am sure that the last time I used this disc my docs etc were kept safe. However on starting up the recovery disc it comes up with options including Standard System Restore or Windows and Smart Restore Only. Which would be the best to use and will my docs be deleted? Thank you

If you are a newbie & Do not want to take any risks, go with Standard System restore! See what happens after restore! If things are OK leave it!

Or else give try to Smart Restore!
