Windows Version

Hello,
I have a Pentium D 820 CPU based System which is a x64 system with Intel's Netburst Architechture . However , I am using Multiprocessor Free 32 bit version of Windows Xp Pro ? Shouldn't I upgrade to the 64 bit version of Windows Xp for better System Performance ?
