I know this a garbage router (belkin F5D6231-4 ) and I'm using it in access point only mode.
I was just wondering if someone would know if this router is the cause for me
not being able to access network neighborhood on my internal lan?
It works great for wireless internet.
Just can't find other computers or transfer files through it.
Thanks
Dennis

hard to say without seeing it .. do you have a firewall on the pc or the router?

gstefanick what do you need to see? Works with internet but cannot find internal computers or transfer files.

I do have a software firewall. I disable it when trying to find computers or transfer files.
Works fine through my wired lan. Won't even find any computers through the belkin.

The belkin may have a hardware firewall in router mode. The docs says it's disabled in AP only mode.

I've seen so many problems on the net about this specific router that I would say this is the problem.
I'll probably have to get another AP and try it.
