for gaming u need only best graphic card and 2GB-4GB RAM, but i think ASUS is best for overclocking for review : http://comparemb.tripod.com/

The Q6700 is only 260MHz faster than the Q6600 and people have been overclocking the Q6600's to 3.2-3.6GHz. Going with the Q6700 $254 more than the Q6600 for 260MHz, thats a waist of money. You could spend the extra cash on more RAM, or a kick a$$ Siverstone TJ09.

I agree about the Q6600/6700.

If you really want SLI then you have to go nVidia 6xxi chipset - with a quad I would provbably go with eVGA 680i A1 revision.
Do you really need SLI though? For most people a single 8800GTX does fine.

650i isn't a great chipset for overclocking quads & the P5N-E can be very fussy - tbh even though I have 1 I wouldn't recommend it.
