HD installed and there but not.....please help :)

I just bought two Western Digital Caviar SE WD1600AAJS 160GB 7200 RPM 8MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s Hard Drive - OEM from newegg and just like all things they don't install as planned. I have a 110g harddrive that is on a IDE ribbon and I want to get the info off of this and on the others but When I hook them up they dont show up...sort of. I plugged them in and upon startup windows tells me new hardware found, WDC WD1600AAJS-75PSA0 ,disc drive, and then your new hardware is installed and ready to use. When I go to my computer though it is not there. So I went to system and under hard discs it shows up and checks out. Any suggestions and what did I fail to put in this that you need to know lol.

You need to enable it through disk management:

control panel>administrative tools>computer management

Select disk management under storage.

You should see all the attached disks. Your new drive will not have a volume label, unpartitioned or formatted. Assign the drive a letter and name and format here, and it should now show up in windows explorer (formatting will take a while if the drive is large).
