Ejection problems with my Lite-On DVD burner.

I've recently purchased a http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16827106057 and I've been having an issue with it. Almost every time I eject a CD or DVD, the initial kick from the trey opening knocks the CD or DVD up onto the trey and it gets wedged. This requires me to pull the CD or DVD out in order to get the trey to fully open. I'm a bit worried about scratching it up, so I'm wondering if this is a common problem with this model or or if it's just me.

I had a Lite-ON DVD-R drive that failed. I couldn't get the company on the phone and they even failed to respond to email. Return it and get another brand.

This happens to me too, sometimes when i push the open button you see the tray get stuck. Simply pushing it softly to the INSIDE with my finger and then clicking the button again makes it work, don't know if its a problem with all drives or if we are just unlucky.

Hope this helped :pt1cable: .
