Just wanted to run this by people who actually know what they're doing - so I don't kill my computer.

I have a GA-P35-DQ6
Q6700
2x2gb Patriot Extreme Performance PC6400
Zalman 9500
8800 GTX

Ok I have FSB @ 340, Multiplier @10
Everything is set to auto (except FSB) in the BIOS and it seems to be running fine.
I am stupid using auto settings in the bios or is it ok?
According to CPU-Z my Core Voltage is 1.36
I am running Prime 95 - Small FFT - has been on for 20 mins, no errors, going to run overnight
Temps for the cores are: 70-65-65-70
Normal Temps under full load? When it was at 3.2 is was ~ 65-60-60-65

Memory Timings are set to auto because I cant figure out my ram voltage in the BIOS, only offer +.2 or +.25 and so on upto +2. I think my ram is running at 1.8v at 5-5-5-12, but if I put it at +.4 it won't post running 4-4-4-12 timings, which it is rated for a 2.2v. If someone with this board could help on that front, it'd be really helpful.

How much more can I expect to push it? Thank from the Noob... :)

Yea, I read that at first. It's how I got started, but I wanted to know if anyone had this board, how to get the memory working, since I can't just put it to 2.2v, how can I find out what it is actaully running at not so I can apply the proper adjustment. Just wierd, maybe I'm missing something.

Thanks.

Quite a few ways. It may display the ram voltage at post. If not, get cpuz, & click SPD tab. However, it seems to say 1.8v regardless of bios settings.

By default, Gigabyte P965 & P35 boards set ddr2 to 1.8v. Your ram should work at 5-5-5-12 @ 2.2v. Maybe not at tighter timings. The q6700 can do 3.5ghz on air.

You can use auto voltages/timings to get a working set of numbers, then enter these into bios if you wish. I use manual everything.

Even when you set that board to auto memory timings it should tell you what frequency it's running at. I've seen auto settings run memory at ridiculous frequencies so you might want to check that.
