Hello all,

Just finished my new PC build last night with the following specifications:

Antec P180B case
Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 2.4 GHz (B3) Stock Fan/Heatsink
eVGA 8800GTS 640 MB PCI-e x16
MSI P6N-Platinum motherboard
Seagate 320GB 16MB 7200RPM SATA 3.0Gb/s
Corsair XMS2 2GB (2x1GB) Dual Channel RAM
OCZ 600W SLI PSU

Now the first thing I did was check the CPU temperature in the BIOS. It reported 32C. Awesome.
I installed XP Pro SP2, downloaded Core Temp 0.95 to check things out. It reported 48, 47, 50, 50C.

Now, my question is: Is the BIOS temperature reporting Tcase and Core Temp 0.95 reporting Tjunction?

(MSI's Dual Core Center reports similar temps as BIOS)

I'd rather look at Tcase because that's the temperature range I'm used to seeing.

Thanks!
