Question on memory sticks

Sorry dumb question here, would it make any difference in performance if I had?
1 stick of 2gig ram or
2 sticks of 1gig ram

2 x 1 GB kits are tested and paired together to run dual channel which is a performance increase over a single 2 gb DIMM. 2 GB DIMMS generally run higher timings than 1 GB modules. If your board is capable of dual channel, utalize it.

Agree with badge, but the theoretical performance difference isn't always seen though, and even if it was, I doubt you'd notice it.
