I'm currently in the process of doing a build and I'm stuck on how powerful of a PSU I need. Can I get away with use a 850w psu or do I need a more powerful psu.

The budget for the the PSU is no more then $250

Location: USA

Here's the build:

I7 3770k (I plan on overclocking to 4.2 ghz)

ASUS Maximus V Formula Mobo (I'm in loving with this mobo )

G.SKILL Ripjaws X Series 8GB (2x4gb) 1600 DDR3 ram

2x GTX 660s (I plan to do a mild overclock on these as well)

2x 1TB HDs

SAMSUNG 830 Series 128gb SSD

Corsair 600T

Corsair H100 Liquid CPU cooler

BitFenix Recon Fan Controller

Asus CD/DVD + RW player

So any ideas?

Solution
Agree that 750W is more than enough for an OCd build with two GTX 660s.

The original Silencers were loud, the MK II units probably aren't seeing as they (all except the 950W version) use large 13.5cm fans with maximum speeds of 1500RPM and noise rating of 29dBA.

Although with a $250 dollar budget I would definitely buy something else.
