7950GT E-tailers

Hi there! My 7800GTX is reaching the end of its lifespan. Its heating up to 100+C in CounterStrike: Source (1920x1200, 16xAF, 0xAA, Max Quality) I have cleaned it out, checked all connections, and am still havin that same problem, so my only conclusion is that its dying.

I have looked at a new card, with my choice landing on the 7950GT 512MB. I have only one slot to fill (7900GTX is too big ) and the 8 series midrange cards are terrible. My problem is, I cant seem to find it anywhere but Newegg.com, and theres only one choice, and its out of stock. Are there any other E-tailers that you guys would reccommend? I have tried Newegg.com, Tigerdirect.com, and zipzoomfly.com. any help would be greatly appreciated.

Got my EVGA 7950GTKOSC DIRECT from amazon.com for 250 a little less than 4 months ago. Check there

Well, mwave.com doesnt have any, and neither does amazon. I need the PCI-E with 512mb one... any other sites?

Have you removed the cooler and re-applied some good quality thermal paste to assure good contact?

An aftermarket cooler also might save the GPU.

TigerDirect has it I do believe. I just ordered myself a BFG 7950GT Overclocked 256mb ddr3 for $179-$40 rebate.

i bought my 7950gt for 300$ when it first came out now its half of that im sad

anyway, it can be volt modded a whole .1v more! (7900gtx voltage) and will most likely clock up there too! mine did with aftermarket cooling (arctic cooling nv5 i think..) goodluck

Ebay my friend. I just bought a 7950gt 256 mb version off of ebay last week. It was a BFG open box thing, apparently there is actually alot of them. So yea, try that.
