More Information

G/B mobo P35 DS3, bios 5c
XFX 8800 GTS 320 Extreme, latest drivers
Tagan 480 P/S

No o/c
After post when the first black XP logo screen appears, it always comes on in 3 or 4 stages - very faint at first, then clearer, and clearer again and then appears fully and the blue `dotted line' starts running. This takes about 6 seconds. After that it runs normally. There has been about 10 occasions where it has stuck at the first faint screen, and has needed the reset button to be pressed on the case for a reboot.
Has anyone any ideas where I should start looking for a cure. Is it likely to be the graphics card, power supply etc?
Many thanks
Ken
