This is probably a stupid question, but i'm going to ask it anyway.
I'm building my dad a new computer and i'm looking at SATA dvd drives rather than the good old IDE.
With using a G31 motherboard, will the SATA drive automatically work with an XP boot cd for a new build?
I presume yes, but i just wanted to check...

As long as your motherboard detects the SATA dvd drive and you can select it as being the 1st boot device.
