I'm relatively new to overclocking. This weekend i set my card (x1950xt) to 702/1035. ATI tool usually crashes after a few minutes but all my games run fine. Temps range from 47 idle to 75 load. Is it ok if ATI tool crashes (no artifacts just crashes and i get the GPU stopped responding error) or should I lower my clocks a little?

75 degrees is way too high. You need a serious cooling solution to get to down to about 60-65 or else the card will brick itself in a few months.
