hi guys

ive been having some problems with my system, its constantly crashing in vista, BSOD constantly, my ram keeps on dying (thank god crucial do free replacements). im definately planning on upgrading my computer, and i know my current psu (535w enermax eg565av-vew) wont be enough. so i am thinking i might as well just buy one now, as maybe all these problems is because of my psu?

what im asking, is there something new coming out, or will a new psu i buy not be compatible with amds new barceolona etc?

thank you in advance

I dont think where will be any changes on the horizon for PSU's a decent one now will come with the 6/8pin pci-e connectors as well as 24pin m/b i cant see this changing anytime soon.

However, i would think that the PSU you got should be able to run your current rig ok. As long as you arent upgrading anything else before getting your new beast i would see how it goes for now.

On a side note, i apologise for asking a question on your post. But hows the 2407wfp go? ive been looking at 24" LCD's for an upgrade from my 2x 19" and this 24" was one i was looking at.

Generally you would get a bigger PSU for the rig but if its running it i dont see the need. The PSU calculators dont take into account the quality of the PSU and they also are usually calculated on close to 100% power drain which you are never going to achieve anyways
