I have just one last question before making a purchase I need some help with. I posted this within another thread but it got buried.
I want to get this HIS X1950Pro: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Prod [...] 6814161082

Looking at the pic of the back of this AGP card, I see it needs a 6 pin power plug. I have a 4 pin adapter coming off my power supply. It currently powers my x850xt. The HIS product ships with a dual 4-pin to 6-pin power cable (see pic in the link above that shows the adapter). Will this work to power it based off what I have? Do I just plug one of the two 4pin ends of the adapter into the end of my existing power adapter and the 6 pin end into the card? I am assuming I would just leave the other 4 pin adapter alone and unused?

Thanks!

How well it works depends if you have a decent PSU or not.

But yes, if it has a 4-to-6 pin adapter with it, it will connect fine.
