So i just built my rig (e4400, 8800gts, 2gig patriot ram) and i've already read that the mobo will double boot before posting (once as an internal check), but my mobo will just boot twice and not post, just sit there idle.

If i turn the computer off and then on, will not post.
Restart computer, will not post.
Turn off computer, turn off switch on power supply, will post right away!

So what does this sound like, bad mobo? Could updating and reflashing the BIOS help to fix this?

Thanks everyone.
Trevor.
