More Information

Hi,

I'm trying to move my Areca ARC-1220 from my old Socket 939 system to a new Core 2 Duo system.

Controller worked fine on a an Asus A8N-E in the PCIe slot with a VGA card in a PCI slot.

However, when I try it on a Asus P5LD2 i only get 2 beeps from the controller and a black screen, no POST, no boot.

Removing the controller, the system boots up fine.

Anybody got any ideas what I could try here? Return mobo and get a different one?

PS.: Tried the same config on a Gigabyte GA-P35-DS3, also works fine, I guess I'm returning the Mobo!?

Thanks
Carnaugh
