I have an AGP 6800 GS in a nice, solid Asus A7N8X Deluxe mobo with 1.5GB of memory and WinXP. This PC will be going to my 10yr daughter's room around Christmas when I build a new system for me. The 6800 GS runs BF2 and even Stalker on less than high settings at 1024x768. I'm thinking of dropping in a x1950GT, x1950Pro, or a x1950XT if y'all think they would let the system last a while yet for her level of games and Web use? So about what card is the fastest to drop in this system before the CPU becomes a bottleneck? Or am I already there? We use both ATI and nvidia cards so whichever card is best is fine with me. The current price of the 1950XT around $170 would be my max budget for this old system. Thanks!

i think that a 1950 or so would be a bit much. i can run bf2 on full settings at 1024x1280 with my x1650xt. i've got an athlon 2800+ currently clocked to 2.2GHz and she runs fine, fine, fine. 1.5gb of ram and a HIS x1650xt 512mb.

Thanks everyone. I had to post twice and the second time forgot to add I have 2500+ mildly overclocked to a 2800+ level. I'll probably just leave it with the 6800GS. I appreciate the help!
