More Information

I have E6750 CPU and MSI P35 Platinum motherboard. When I try to boot up the machine after the motherboard loses the power (ie, the power supplier switches to off), the machine will boot up for 2 seconds, then automatically shut down for 2 seconds, and then boot up again normally. Has anyone seen this before? I heard that this is to work around some CPU problem, otherwise the system may have some kind of S5 reset issue. What are the details for this issue?

My Abit IP35 does exactly the same from a cold boot or after any BIOS adjustments.
