I have some cheap WINTEC AMPO 512MB DDR2 800 3AMD2800 memory. I'm looking for a cheap mb for mom. She's still using a pIII which works great, but doesn't have agp just pci slots. I thought I could buy her a 775 socket board with agp and put in my old 9700 pro in her computer and my kids could play games there. CPU old Pentium D 820.

I'm guessing I would need to replace power supply (HP factory ps for PIII). Would a 300 watt sparkle work well enough?

BIOSTAR P4M800 Pro-M7(Ver.8.x)
Would be great for what i need.

Guess my question really is. Would ddr 2 800 clock itself down to ddr 2 667 to work in the BIOSTAR P4M800 Pro-M7(Ver.8.x)?

Yes, the memory will work just fine at ddr2-667 speeds. You could probably even tighten the memory timings a little bit.
I'm not sure about the PSU though...
