Is there a TAT (thermal analysis tool by Intel) for the q6600? Or am i just not looking hard enough for the command line to execute on cores 2 and 3....

I would not use TAT to stress the cores... It is misleading as only intel knows how to get its processors that hot.
I prefer orthos (or prime for 4 cores) as even using these tools, my computer has never even made it to the max temps that these tools give.

I know it doesn't answer your question. I just want to make sure your using the right tool for the job.

I do use Prime for stress testing, as i believe that Intel's Load test really is just synthetic, as prime is actually using math to stress it therefore you can get errors. Intel's is just load probably a bunch of whimsical calculations to load the core.

that being said, i just want to use TAT to measure TRUE core temps. The TAT i have (still calls it a Pentium M) only executes on cores 0 and 1, im just looking to monitor CORE TEMPS with TAT.
