Trying to upgrade working MSI 6702E Ver 1.0 motherboard from single core 3000 to X2 dual core 4200, having problems. While old CPU was in I upgraded Bios to newer multicore, Bios upgraded fine to 9.4 On first attempt, installing new OEM CPU and it locks up Motherboard - won't Post. Diag LEDs #4 on solid, no video at all. Sent first CPU back for replacement (I hope it was just DOA) MSI site shows Bios 9.4 should run X2 4200 just fine. Any help would be appriciated. I suspect there are quite a few people trying to upgrade their 939 CPUs to a higher rating now that AMD is phasing out 939 and the prices are excelent.
