Radeon X1950 XT

I purchased a barebones X1950 XT from New Egg so I don't know if it requires a connection to the power supply. Can anyone help?

it should require one. It may be a 6 pin plug.

Where is the plug? All I see are 3 prongs on the upper right corner of the card.

Your PSU should have it, otherwise you're going to need a 2-Molex-to-6Pin-PCIe. But if I were you I'd check if your PSU can even handle the X1950XT before going out to buy anything else.

I have a 500 watt Colors-It power supply...but no adapter that will fit the card.

Doesn't sound like that PSU will even power the card, it is after all a very power hungry card.

Check the power requirements on the box.
Mine says 450watt minimum and 30Amps on the 12V rail. That is huge. I'm struggling to find a power supply that will deliver that.

yeah but even the x1950 pro says that

and i am running it without any issues on 22Amps with a 380 watt psu.
