This graphics card is to get off the onboard graphics, it will be used for some gaming.

Budget is £60
Power supply is 20A on +12V rail can probably take a 7900gs at most, but that doesn't fit the budget.

Both of these cards are £60
256mb 7600GT GDDR3
256mb HD 2600XT GDDR3

So out of these two which one is better?

Its a mixed answer from the charts on some games the 7600gt is slightly better, and some the 2600xt is slightly better.

 

Although i am looking up other benchmarks

If it were me i would go for the 2600xt the drivers deliver more performance with each update plus you will have the latest tec in the pc and of course the HD element of the card is a real bonus bit of a no brainer really :)

i think the over all performance of the HD2X00 will increase by 10-13% at least. so go with the hd2600xt you also get hl2 deathmatch and lost coast for free too.

I thought it was only Call of Juarez.

 

I guess I'll choose the Sapphire HD 2600XT as it looks the best for £60, lower power consumption and I'm a casual gamer
