There should be a setting somewhere in the laptop's BIOS to select either the built in graphics or the adapter's graphics.

If i select only integrated graphics, nvidia drivers wont work and it ask to install onboard graphics first and then nvidia, because laptop have to switch b/w onboard and card for diff apps

Did you select "enable hardware acceleration" in PowerDVD?

if i select hardware acceleration also, there will be a little delay in audio with video, this happens if i play more then 720p, because nvidia card is not using
