Ok i have a q6600 B3 oced to 3.2ghz @ 1.3875v on my abit ip-35 pro. I recently changed it from 356 x 9 to 400 x 8 because at 400 x 8 i can get a more optimal over clocked ram speed (1000) instead of (890). Ok Now the only program that seems to be reading my cpu speed correctly is CPU-Z both coretemp and 3dmark06 are seeing my cpu speed at 3600 mhz. I know my cpu isnt running at that because of bios and CPU-Z. Im guessing its because i set the multiplier to 8 and some programs dont account for that. Can anyone confirm that? sorry just bothering me.

I'm surprised with 3DMark showing 3.6Ghz as it's usually pretty accurate.Try some different programs like Crystal CPUID,RightMark,Everest or even the Intel CPUID Utility.
