Hi,
My computer heats up and so I use a hose fan( a big cooling fan that is used to cool the house in lack of ac ). I once read something about it bein bad since the fan has an elctro magnetic coil that can do damage. recently my hh got corrupted, could the fan be the problem, how can I know for sure??

I think I understand what you are talking about. Unless the house fan is within a couple of inches of your hard drive it wouldn't have any effect. Magnetic fields weaken exponentially so beyond a few inches there wouldn't be much magnetism left. Your hard drive probably got corrupted through natural causes.
