Boot problem

When I turn on my computer, the fan on the graphics card runs at max for a couple of seconds and then the whole systems turns itself off. Then after another couple of seconds the systems turns itself back on and boots normally. What could be causing this?

Have you recently upgraded your card or drivers i got something similar to this after a driver update i went back to old drivers obviously and updated with the next ones and havent had a prob since.

Turns out it is a known "double boot" issue with the bios in my abit motherboard.
