When I am switching on my PC the hard disk sorts of start to make a clicking noise. It will arrive at the boot screen where after sometime the PC shows that there is a hard disk. Then though a disk boot failure!

Any Ideas Please?

Run the manufacturer's diagnostics on the hard drive. You need either a floppy drive or a CD-Rom.
Run the "Hitachi Hard Drive Fitness" test also.

First of all thanks very much. I have already run the manufacturer test and if I recall correctly there were some bad sectors. I will try and run the Hitachi Hard Drive Fitness test now. Thanks once again. Do you think that maybe the hard drive is bad?
