I cant access my desktop

Hello,i can't access my desktop when i turn on my computer.All get is just a black screen.Help

Nothing to work with here. Any beeps at startup? the number of beeps at startup can be a clue to the problem depending on your motherboard bios error codes.
It could be a failed power supply, failed ram, failed GPU or hard drive.
Whithout knowing the details about your system and what happened prior to this problem we can only guess.
