Switched off power during system restore

Hello,
I foolishly switched my pc off during a system restore. Now I don't have the use of the mouse. any ideas on how to remedy the situation

you can restore with the original operating system disk, select restore, not reformat.

Hi Thank you for the reply. Is the Operating System disc the one that came with the mouse and keyboard?

The OS disc, would be a retail XP disc, or a OEM restore disc that came with your system. In the case of an OEM disc, it should have the company logo on it and say 'driver disc' or 'restore disc' or something like that.

If you can boot into safe mode (f8 on startup), you can use the keyboard to access the restore points.

You may simply need to enable your type of mouse in the BIOS.
