well, i was running out of space so got a new samsung 750gb, arrived today.

i did a quick format, which i have done before with new drives without issue.

i began copying files over to the new drive, which went fine, i copied maybe 80gb across.

but now the drive is reading as unformatted, with 100% free space.

im confused and irritated.

i tried to view the disk with pc inspector file recovery, but it didnt show any files.

anyone seen this ? have any suggestions ? know of any free software that can fix this ?

would be really helpful :P
