Can i use 2005 oem cd with a 2002 key?
need to install woindows on a new HDD but i dont have the disk. i found one on the internet but its for 2005. can i use a 2005 windows xp pro oem disk to install windows on a computer with a 2002 serial key?

There is no such thing as "2005 windows xp pro oem disk". The Windows XP CD MUST match the Product Key.

what should i do then cuz when i put in the key from the sticker of the computer it says its an invalid key :^(

Find a Windows XP CD that matches the Product Key on the sticker.

whats the type of OS your are mentioning.."2005 & 2002"..
if you are trying to use XP OEM license cd key with retail & volume licensed cd it wont work..if you lost you original cd the go to windows support to download new copy with the key..
