i also plan to buy a 8800 GT to run on this system, will it have enough power to run all that, im only running 1 hard drive 1 dvd drive, and it will be running 3 120mm fans for the case, will the 450W be efficent? also with that case and maybe a artic freezer pro on that cpu how fast do u think i could over clock it to?

As far as power requirements, at the end of the first post here is a link to an estimated power-usage calculator, and good PSU tips/info.

Also in the PSU section of the forum, there is a thred about $78 Corsair 520watt system - might be worth reading about.

You'll be able to run the e2160 stable for sure, without any overclocking.

Stock cooling will get you to ~3ghz, after that you probably want to look into a 3rd party cooler (ie - you mentioned artic freezer, there is also tuniq tower, thermalright utra's etc).

You could get it upwards of 3.3ghz is my guess, but really it's trial and error.

Give it a shot and let us know what you get. If you search for "e2160", "2160", "e2180" etc and any variant of those on the forums, you'll hit up many threads discussing how to overclock that CPU.

Also search for your motherboard in the forum, and you'll find many threads discussing overclocking too. It will get you all the info you need.

Good luck and have fun :)
