I installed Office Home and Student 2007 on a Dell using Windows XP. The apps work fine on the admin user account but the Windows installer/app configuration programs keep popping up on the other user account. What gives and how do I fix the problem? thanks.
You have to run it once in each user account.Hope it wont ask for CD.
It will configure the office for that particular user.Once configured it'll work fine!
by "run it once" do you mean to log on to the different user account and attempt to install the program again or do something else? I moved the program to the shared folder for the other users. It still worked find on the admin account but the installer still re-emerges on the others. tfyh
