i just bought a xfx 8800 gts for my aging rig (amd x2 4200+, 2gb ddr400 ocz platnium, asus a8n-sli premium) and i was wondering if the gts would be overkill for some games because they will be cpu limited. i dont care if i get only 40-50 fps in a game because my cpu cant keep up, but if i start dipping around 25-35 fps, then i will be dissappointed. which games are the most cpu intensive, and will i run into any problems with my current cpu?

Actually in my opinion a 4200 X2 is Perfect, it's neither limiting or is it more than enough. The 320mb 8800GTS is it's perfect match, and the 4400 X2 and 640mb 8800GTS are also natural pairs.

You won't be disappointed by that. When you're upgrading your system later then your video card will carry over.

You shouldn't have a problem with that at all. I'm running an Opteron 170, which at stock is 2.0 Ghz along with an 8800 GTS 640. I've clocked my processor up incrementally to 2.7 Ghz on stock voltage and tested 3d performance all the way. While my performance did increase as I went higher (7900 3dmarks at 2.2 Ghz up to 9100 3dmarks at 2.7 Ghz if I remember my numbers correctly), even at stock speeds the video card wasn't severely bottlenecked, and I believe the Opty 170 runs slower at stock than your X2 4200.

I'm proud of myself,because i'm from IRAN

Not a mismatch. Nice pair...procie can cope up dont know about the bandwidth of your mobo if it is really 16x or a ripped 8x version of 16x slot that would be a real bottleneck.
