Rename some of the directories the files are in to something shorter, then try again. Many people take the default file names for everythign and end up with names like "My Homework Paper About The Number of Cows In My House. This is How many cows.doc" Combine this with some nice messed up folder structures and you hit the limit Windows can read.

Thanks, your respond. I have hundreds of files in each folder. I do not want to rename it as I did not have any problem while using windows xp. I wish to have other solution beside rename the files.

There is no other solution unless you use something like a Linux boot CD on the computer and copy the files to the drive using that. You don't need to rename the files, just the folders.

Create a folder with a short name in your root folder... call it "Data" for example. This should be short enough for Windows not to complain.
