More Information

No matter what computer I put it in, this stick of PC3200 memory will cause the computer to not boot (BIOS will report boot failures). However, it seems to work fine in slot 2 for a while.

I’ve used Stress Prime and MemTest 3.3 to test it by itself and with its twin for more than 20+ passes with no errors. So, if I keep it in Slot 2 and the ‘good’ stick in Slot 1 all seems fine for a month or two then there is a mysterious crash. I’ve tried it in three different computers (1 AMD and 2 Intel’s). I don’t want to buy new memory as I’m upgrading my whole system by January and am too lazy (atm) to send it back to G.Skill for a replacement. Any ideas of what the problem may be or am I just SOL?
