Hi guys!

I've been overclocking my E2160 so far really liking it but, everyone I knew said you could get this processor @3.0Ghz with stock cooling, currently I'm @ 280X9 = 2520MHZ (1.120V) Prime 95 Stable (14hrs), It Idles at 42C According to Core Temp, and Load 59-60, fluctuates a lot.. are my temperatures normal for a low vcore and current core speed?? I get way different results with SpeedFan, which shows 100% load @ 44C.

As for cooling, its a steel case (temporary) no extra fans, and using stock intel cooler. What are safe temperatures for this processor?

your time and feedback is appreciated! oh and I'm using Vista Home Premium, gonna switch to xp soon :]

Yamcha, if you run Prime95 in "Blend" mode, then fluctuations are normal, however, to test at a steady 100% workload run Prime95 in "Small FFT's" mode.
