is this psu any good ?(new post not a double)

I have the 500w version. It is not one of my better psu's, but it works fine so far and I got my rebate so it was like $20. The unit you chose does not have active pfc. I think the psu is fine, but if you are running dual 8800's or even SLI'd 7900's you might consider a unit with a 'rated' efficiency, more 12v power and possibly modular cabeling, but cabling is not overly important. You might list your system specs and get some more opinions.

That's the one I'm using on this PC right now. I just installed it a couple of weeks ago.

AMDFX55
ASUS A8N-SLI
EVGA 7600GT x 2
Crucial Ballistic PC4000 Ballistic LED 4 x 512
etc.

Works good for the past 2 weeks. Time will tell.
