Black screen windows media player and games vista

when i open a video in windows media player or vlc it only work the sound and when i need to play world of warcraft or another game te sound works but i see only black screen.

sorry for my bad english xD but i hope that you understand it!

please help me!!

Mark93 it would help to know what Video card you are using and the make and model of your system. If you have an ATI or Nvidia video card you may need to set all settings back to default.
