What would be the best upgrade PSU for my system?

- Intel Pentium D Processor 940/3.20 MHz FSB
- 2G memory
-RAIDMAX Scorpio ATX-868WUP Blue Steel ATX Mid Tower Computer Case 420W Power Supply

Want to put two x1950xt running on CF. I am not a really big gamer, my screen can only go to 1280x1024. I have been told that I should upgrade my PSU, by some people in the graphics card forum. Thanks again.

Your not a big gamer and you only run at 1280x1024, i wouldn't even bother getting a X1950XT let alone two in crossfire. I would get either a X1950Pro or if you really felt you needed more power i guess the X1950XT.

I would either go with a x1950 series or a 7600gt if you are not planning to be playing games that much. If you are get the x1950 pro or xt series.

2 XT's barely outdo a 320 GTS, which can be had for about $50 less, and at that res you wont need that much power unless you REALLY turn up the AA, get either one, a PRO or a 7900 series

ye, you only really need one of those, however, if for some reason you did, you would not need more than a quality 600W PSU.
