Can i charge my laptop with dc charger

Hello,
i wanna charge my laptop with dc charger. there are very light shortage in my town. is there any dc charger through which i can charge my hp laptop.

you need to use the adapter that is made for your laptop, OEM or 3rd party. You don't want to just plug in anything to the power leads.

You need the proper voltage, amperage and wattage in order to be able to charge your battery. DC chargers aren't up to the task... you're better off hooking a power inverter to your DC voltage and sticking with your standard AC adapter that came with the laptop.

yes i agree, never use anything but the recommended adapter or you may have some serious issues!
