If you use q6600 cpu on several mobos, does ur cpu get damage? I only reset so far 4 time.

the reason im asking this because i have 3 brand new computer in my house i was checking which mother board would works best with q6600 for ocing.

not unless you physically damage it in the process of moving it...

As long as you do the right thing. But you are running the risk of damaging it. Don't touch the cpu's contact points. Aviod static discharge by grounding yourself with an antistatic wrist strap.

Also on the motherboard's socket pins, be very careful with it. Installing and removing a cpu several times may cause the pins to bend.

Just drop the cpu on top of the socket and not force it or press it on there. Let the retainer/locking mechanism do the work. There are some cases that builder bend the pins by not doing the right installation procedure.

But with all that, you're chances are still low in damaging you cpu and or motherbaord.
