Hi,

Just installed this brand new 2.5 drive as secondary drive in my hp dv9051ea, running vista home premium
The drive is detected as a HTS722010K9SA00 (which it is) but its driver fails to install due to "incorrect parameter", so I can't use disk management to partition it and use it

after trying different methods to try to get it running (bios has already sata "enabled", btw) I popped the ubuntu 7.10 live cd I had and next thing you know I was installing this OS on this drive. I though this might make vista aware of it, but no, still can't install the driver on it

after a few hours of fiddling with it in ubuntu I can say that this drive is fully functioning
still I'd like to see it under vista...

any ideas ?
