I spent the last 5 days studying the hell out of these forums for a new build and this is where I am at so far:
Intel Duo Core 2 E6850
Asus P5K Deluxe/WiFi-AP Intel P35 Chipset
Crucial Ballistic Tracer w/Led DDR2 PC2-8500 4x1Gig
WD Raptor SATA HD 150GB (OS)
WD Caviar SE16 SATA HD 750GB
NVIDIA GeForce 8800GT
Antec 900
Artic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro
I am not going to be doing any gaming or real overclocking and this system is a general system for heavy multitasking (not with heavy graphic applications). Three cooling questions:
1) Do I need to worry about cooling on any of the other components like memory or graphics card?
2) Should I put any additional fans in the Antec 900 especially with the option to put an additional fan on the side?
3) Did I miss anything?
I haven't gotten to the PSU or CDRoms yet but I didn't think that would make a major difference in cooling.
EVERYTHING will be fine with stock coolers. but if you wanna oc 8800gt has the hr 03 for cooler. ram will be fine. arctic cooler 7 pro is a great air cooler
