I am going new everything, processor q6600, 8800gt, new hd etc. I want to know if just taking my existing hd and installing in my new system and booting to win xp pro cd and doing repair is the way to swap data and os? Do I use the seagate proggy's from there site to clone? I can put both hd in the new case and swap os and data? Hell I am confused, then there is the use 2 hdd's, partition the new 7200.10 250 mb drive and use one???

Help please ready to build...

I would try to clone the old to the new in old machine with arconis true image, and then put the new in new computer and do a repair top see if it works. If not you still have the old in original state and we can try another method.
