Alright i recently build my new rig which consists of Q6600 B3 @ 9x334 1.3125v It peaks at about 62c which is a bit hot for me but i cant get it to go any lower. My heatsink is a tuniq tower 120, my mobo is a Gigabyte P35-DS3R, OCZ platinum pc26400 @ 1001 5-5-5-15. EVGA 8800 GTS 640 mb @ 670/1020 peaks at 67c. I have 2 wd raptors set up in RAID and one wd raptor by itself. Ok this problem has been persisting for weeks and is not my internet. Whenever i play 3d games, it dosnt matter what it is i get choppiness in games. My framerates will be above 60 at all times (mostly above 100) and yet ill get quick half second freeze ups every know and then. This is a pretty good system and this shouldnt happen. Games that it happens in are COD UO, COD2, and bioshock. I havnt installed any other games. I have already tested my graphics card and thats not the problem. I have tested my pc with default clock speeds and that also isnt the problem. Could the problem be my motherboard? I have read alot of people having problems with it and it has gave me problems also. Once i booted it up and windows simply wouldnt load. I had to reinstall. Could my motherboard be causing freeze ups in games?
