-Antec P182 Gunmetal Grey Super Mid Tower Case
-Corsair HX Series 520W Modular PSU - ATX12V v2.2 APFC
-EVGA 8800GTS 320MB GDDR3 DVI TV Out PCI-E Graphics Card
-Super Talent 2GB T800UX2GC4 (x2)

I was planning on the Asus Blitz Formula as the reviews i have read about it say it is the best p35 motherboard available. But is it worth the money (£163) or should i go for a cheaper board (like the P5K Deluxe)?

well it has some features that u dont need , (some extra features) also P5K DELUXE doesnt have a lot of difference with ASUS P5K-E , so go for ASUS P5K-E in my opinion

Actually, there are some featues in P5K-Deluxe which are absent in Blitz Formula: Wi-Fi, External SATA.

Blitz Formula uses high quality components which are supposed to be more stable and more reliable.

Yes, I am. I have to choose MIS33 when I registered here because the name MIS3 was not available at the time.

Over at Asus Forum, I did see 2 threads complaining high temperatures. One was due to over-voltage and the other one was due to the location of the MB temp sensor. It was too close to the PCI-E slot that it picked up heat from the video card. These 2 threads hardly constitute a temp issue! Probably too early to tell.

I did purchase the P5K-Premium (also use high quality materials) but I had to return it because of SATA issues. Many of us could not even install Windows. We, at the Asus Forum, suspect that this will not not a simple BIOS fix, the root cause is probably hardware related. It has been 4 weeks and Asus did not provide any offical explanation yet. This makes us suspect more that this is not an easy fix.

By the way, Guywoody, my PC components are similar to yours. P182, EVGA 8800GTS-320MB, Cosair-620W.
